World Telecommunication and Information Society Day

For 50 years it has been celebrated the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, formerly known as World Telecommunication Day. It is the day when in 1865 was founded ITU - the International Telecommunication Union for coordinates telegraph operations in Europe. On this occasion we bring you two interesting resources. The first is the Czech Telecommunication Office (which is a member of the ITU). On this website, you can also access various open data about postal services, mobile networks or radio and television.

The second source is International Journal of Advances in Telecommunications, Electrotechnics, Signals and Systems, which brings the latest knowledge of the field. The magazine is based on Open Access, so you get all the full texts for free.
