Franz Kafka

The collection dedicated to Franz Kafka (1883-1924), a writer from the circle of the Prague German literature and a key figure in European literature of the 20th century, was created on the occasion of the widely discussed 100th anniversary of his death. It contains thematic websites, academic analyses, discussions, artistic reactions and mentions on social networks. It includes sources selected by curators supplemented by automated scraped google search results according to given criteria. Colleagues from Czech cultural institutions and from abroad - from the Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek and The National Library of Israel participated in the creation of the collection.
